WORLD NEWS TOMORROW ? According to local authorities in central Bamiyan province of Afghanistan, at least four New Zealand troops were killed following a roadside improvised explosive device explosion in this province. Provincial security chief Gen. Juma Guldai Yardom confirming the report said the incident took place after a roadside bomb went off while the New Zealand troops were crossing the area.
Mr. Juma further added the incident took place in Kohmard district where militants have recently increased their insurgency activities.This comes as two New Zealand troops were earlier killed in Bamiyan province following an ambush by Taliban militants.
Bamiyan province is considered to be one of the relatively peaceful region in central Afghanistan however violence has increased in a number of districts in this province during the recent months.Local authorities are saying that the militants are coming to this province from the neighboring volatile provinces of Afghanistan
